Impulse-based ultra-wideband (UWB) has recently gained significant market momentum. Such radio technology utilizes the 3GHz to 10GHz frequency band to enable emerging secure ranging, localization, and communication applications.

To support some of the present technological mega-trends, innovative thin-film materials have to be studied, developed and implemented. We invite coating and thin-film manufacturers, machine builders for coating manufacturing, their components suppliers and all the end-users of special thin-films to join us to discuss where are the present challenges and towards which novel materials and applications the technology is pushing in the different markets such as optics, energy, telecom/datacom, consumer electronics, medical and automotive.
